About Renee:

I fell in love with Burlesque while taking an Art of the Tease class taught by Lily LaRue. I was only able to perform twice, before I left Detroit to begin to travel with my husband. During our journey, while learning about new and interesting places, I took in as many burlesque shows as I could. I am so fortunate to have seen burlesque all over the world!!! Places like London, Derby, Edinburgh, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, LA, Key West, Miami, Toronto, New York City, Chicago, Detroit, on a NCL Ship, and New Orleans. Along the way, I was privileged to meet some amazing burlesque performers, pin-up photographers, and take some great classes and workshops. I am currently staying in New Orleans, LA, where I am fully immersing myself in the burlesque culture and enjoying this amazing city!! I am sad to say I only have a month left :( The good news is in April, we will then be traveling to Spain and England where I will attend the London Burlesque Festival, then Back to where it all started Detroit. From there, I am planning a trip to Vegas for the Burlesque Hall in June and am looking forward to attending other festivals this summer.
